Acts 3:19 study... Repent & Convert for times of Refreshing...

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord..." -Acts 3:19-

Repent = Change mind for the better, sincerely to improve, with disgust over one's past sins (immoral acts according to the Word of God).

Converted = Turn, or return to, the love & obedience of God

Sin = To miss the mark or wander from the path of uprightness and honour of the law of God

Blotted Out = Wash/annoint every part, to obliterate, erase, wipe out, reduced to nothingness (He will remember our sins no more. Hebrews 8:12)

Refreshing = Reinvigorated because of something new or different

Presence = Existing or present, but not seen

The Lord = God, the Messiah, title of honour expressive of respect and reverence with which servants greet their master

"Lord give us a hunger for You Word. Bring wisdom & revelation that will help us change the way we live our lives for the better... for You! Amen."
